March 05, 2025 | Hold City Officials Accountable for DEI Overreach | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO, Michiana.TV | INSouthBend.TV | VisitSouthBend.TV (Original Post 03.05.25)
U.S. Attorney Generals must expand their oversight to investigate city officials, especially those aligned with the Biden-Harris administration, whose Sanctuary City & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies have done more harm than good. These initiatives have not only drained taxpayer dollars but have also destabilized communities, eroded core values, and weakened economic self-sufficiency.
Instead of fostering unity, Sanctuary City & DEI-driven policies have created division—alienating hardworking taxpayers and promoting reverse discrimination under the guise of progress. Sanctuary City officials who aggressively push these agendas without accountability should be exposed. If their actions violate fairness and transparency, they must be prosecuted in the public domain of scrutiny.

Understanding Trump Derangement Syndrome: A Conservative Perspective
"Trump Derangement Syndrome" (TDS) is a term that emerged during Donald Trump's presidency to describe the intense, often irrational reactions he elicited, particularly from his critics. Coined by conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer, it initially referred to the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal individuals in response to Trump's policies and persona.
The phenomenon of TDS can be traced back to earlier political eras. Krauthammer had previously identified a similar pattern during George W. Bush's presidency, labeling it "Bush Derangement Syndrome." This underscores a recurring tendency among some to react hysterically to certain political figures, often losing sight of objective analysis.
The media's role in amplifying TDS cannot be overstated. Mainstream outlets, often perceived as liberal, have been accused of exhibiting bias, scrutinizing conservative figures like Trump while offering leniency to their liberal counterparts. This disparity not only fuels public distrust but also exacerbates the polarization stemming from TDS.
In essence, Trump Derangement Syndrome reflects a broader issue within our political discourse—a departure from reasoned debate towards emotional reactivity. Recognizing this bias is crucial for fostering a more balanced and constructive political environment.

March 05, 2025 | BIden/Harris Democrats have No Message. No Meaning. No Future. | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO Michiana.TV | SJCGOP.TV | IndianaGOP.TV | MichiganGOP.TV | AmericanConservative.TV
America Is Back – And The Democrats Know It
Both Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff looked scared and guilty last night. Why? Because they—and the rest of the Biden-Harris Democrats—know they’ve failed America. While they had four years to work for the people, they instead chose to divide the country, flood our borders with illegal immigration, and drown our future in crippling national debt. Now, their time is up. The American people finally have a real leader back in the White House.
President Donald J. Trump made it clear in his address to Congress: America is back, and the era of weak, apologetic leadership is over. No more pandering to global elites. No more selling out American workers. No more policies that prioritize illegal immigrants over hardworking American families. Trump is not just returning to lead—he is determined to become the greatest American president in history.
His America First leadership isn’t just about strengthening our country—it’s about making humanity stronger and the world a better place. Under his leadership, the economy will thrive again, our borders will be secured, and our military will remain the most powerful force for peace in the world.
Polling proves what Democrats and the mainstream media don’t want to admit: Americans overwhelmingly support Trump, the Republican Party, and patriotic visionaries like Elon Musk. The people have spoken, and they are rejecting the Biden-Harris Era of Democrats who have no message, no meaning, and no future.
Instead of leading, the Democrats yell, riot, and push propaganda that seeks to destroy America's image. But they’re not just attacking the country—they’re alienating the 77 million Americans who voted for America First. They mock patriotism, they trample free speech, and they openly disdain the very people they claim to represent.
The contrast is clear. Trump’s America is strong, united, and prosperous. The Democrats’ America is weak, divided, and declining. The American people are making their choice, and that choice is Donald J. Trump.
America is back. And this time, the people will not be silenced.

- The vast majority of TPS beneficiaries were not admitted to the U.S. with a valid visa.
- Instead, more than 95 percent of Venezuela TPS beneficiaries, for example, were illegally paroled, entered without inspection, provided the government no information all about their entry, or remain in the U.S. based on having filed an asylum application.
- The Biden-Harris Administration funneled hundreds of thousands of aliens it illegally paroled into the country into TPS, attempting to shield them indefinitely from deportation.
- The number of aliens with TPS nearly QUADRUPLED during the Biden-Harris Administration, adding 1,006,859 aliens in just four years.
- More than half of all aliens granted TPS initially entered the U.S. during the Biden-Harris Administration.
- After four years of rampant immigration fraud and abuse under the Biden-Harris Administration, House Republicans and President Trump will continue conducting vigorous oversight and making the long-needed reforms to our immigration system.

February 28, 2025 | The Case for Financially Self-Sustaining Cities: A Conservative Vision for Growth | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO, Michiana.TV | INSouthBend.TV | VisitSouthBend.TV
In cities across America, a stark contrast in leadership philosophies is emerging—one that defines their trajectory either toward self-reliance or perpetual dependency. Conservative leadership champions financial independence, fostering economic resilience through entrepreneurship, job creation, and private-sector-driven innovation. Meanwhile, liberal governance often perpetuates a reliance on federal grants and funding, keeping communities tethered to bureaucratic handouts rather than empowering them to thrive.
The advantages of a city becoming financially self-sustaining cannot be overstated. When a city prioritizes economic independence, it attracts businesses, promotes local investment, and cultivates a tax base that fuels long-term growth. Infrastructure, education, and essential services are sustained through productive economic activity rather than unstable federal aid. This model encourages accountability, as local leaders are compelled to manage resources efficiently rather than depending on Washington to bail them out.
In contrast, cities that cling to federal funding often stagnate under policies that incentivize underachievement, low expectations, and systemic dependency. Liberal governance, with its focus on social programs over economic empowerment, keeps communities reliant on external aid, stifling ambition and discouraging self-sufficiency. Instead of fostering an environment where businesses can flourish and residents can achieve upward mobility, these cities entrench a culture of dependence, reducing incentives for both personal and regional economic growth.
The conservative approach to municipal governance is solution-driven: lower taxes to attract investment, reduce regulatory burdens to spur entrepreneurship, and invest in infrastructure through sustainable revenue generation rather than federal lifelines. By doing so, cities can chart their own course, free from the unpredictability of shifting federal priorities and political bargaining.
For too long, cities have been trapped in a cycle of federal dependency, with liberal leaders content to manage decline rather than inspire progress. It’s time to embrace a vision of self-sustaining growth—one that rewards initiative, encourages responsibility, and ultimately creates a more prosperous future for all citizens.
February 28, 2025 | Mayor James Mueller Showcases the City's Financial Dependence on Federal Grants
Since South Bend became a sanctuary city under Mayor Pete Buttigieg, it has increasingly relied on federal grants just to function. Even something as simple as community park improvements—like those at Kennedy Park—require outside funding, showcasing the city’s financial dependence. Now, under Mayor James Mueller, the city is facing a reckoning. His dire warnings about the future of federal grants reveal an unsettling truth: South Bend cannot sustain itself without Washington’s handouts.
For conservatives, Mueller’s rhetoric is alarming. Instead of projecting confidence or outlining solutions to regain financial independence, he merely laments the possibility of losing federal aid. He offers no roadmap to escape the DEI-driven welfare state established by “Mayor Pete” Democrats. This isn’t governance—it’s economic servitude.
Programming an entire city to rely on federal assistance for survival, productivity, and basic services is nothing short of a crime against humanity. True leadership fosters self-sufficiency, not dependency. ‘America First’ isn’t just a slogan—it’s a philosophy that champions human dignity by ensuring local communities can stand on their own. A city that cannot support itself is a city in decline, and South Bend deserves better.
Those Eyes do not lie.
Those Eyes have seen liberal reality.
Those Eyes will bring TRUTH to America.

South Bend School Corporation | State of Finances
Michiana Observer
February 20, 2025 6:35pm
What is Happening with SB School Finances?
Here is what wasn’t happening while Kareemah Fowler was CFO as revealed in the last school board meeting:
~ No physical inventory was taken for all those years so we have no idea what may have been taken and there was no record for insurance purposes
~ No Internal Manual for accounting procedures which is required for some Federal Grants
~ Funds were not spent out of the correct accounts.
~ State Board of Account Audits were not being completed
~ Pay rates were not correct. Some were paid as Certified Teachers when they were not. Some have been teaching for years without certification.
~ Outsourced services ended up costing more
~ There were no double signatures and proper paper trails for cash transactions such as stipends
~ Receipts are missing on some credit card charges and other expenses
~ Close to 900K was spent on new furniture for the new Administration Building at Brown
~ School Board was not getting their financial questions answered
~ Esser (Covid) funds were spent on things that could have been Federally reimbursed, so that money could have been spent on things the district needed and instead was wasted
What is the good news? The new CFO Ahnaf Tahmid is working on the following:
~ State Board of Accounts is now up to working on the 2022-2023 school year financial records
~ There is now a one-stop page on the website to access financial information
~ The School Board is getting questions answered
~ Regular public updates are occurring
~ Physical Inventory will be taken of district assets
~ Internal Manual is being written
~ There is now a two-signature requirement for cash payments and receipts are required
~ Cost analysis is being done for various areas
~ Contract negotiations have been going smoothly
~ Grants are being more closely audited
~ Keeping Cash reserves at proper limits
What is on the horizon?
~ Working with State Board of Accounts to complete audits and be current
~ Working on new financial dashboards to assist both the Board and the Pubic about spending
~ Working on projections in case State and Federal funding is decreased--especially Title 1
~ Planning for adjustments when Referendum funds are no longer available
What does Michiana Observer think needs to be done?
~ After analyzing the 2024 personnel positions downloaded from the DLGF website, it is our opinion that there are not enough paraprofessionals, nurses and grant writers and there are too many in management/administration positions.
~ Because of the downsizing, reorganization needs to happen to make finances more balanced
~ Find ways to reduce energy costs
~ Utilize AI both in the schools and at the administrative level
~ Have a grant committee to do ongoing research to bring in more funding
~ Get more creative about funding. Other school districts make money off solar on their buildings and have continuing education classes. Look at what others are doing and look at all the ways Notre Dame funds their schools. Notre Dame even has farms to supply food to the students. Their sustainability practices reduce costs and positively impact on the environment.
~ Analyze all vendors where over twenty-five thousand is spent
~ Analyze the transportation costs
~ Go back and analyze all the payments to “Community Partners” for the time Ms. Fowler was CFO
~ Go back and analyze all stipends, cash transactions and credit cards.

February 21, 2025 | Question Of The Day | Opinion Editorial by Creator & CEO, Michiana.TV | IndianaGOP.TV
Question of the Day:
What Value Does Your Chamber Membership Provide?
South Bend Regional Business Owners—whether you operate a small shop, a growing enterprise, or a large-scale company—does your chamber membership truly benefit your business? Or are you merely paying an annual fee for the privilege of being listed in a directory, receiving occasional networking invites, and fielding sales pitches for costly ribbon-cutting ceremonies?
For those with conservative business values, it’s time to ask: Where is your money going? Are your membership dues fueling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that ultimately reinforce Democratic leadership in South Bend? Does your chamber’s political alignment truly represent your business values and economic priorities?
Business owners should be strategic about their affiliations. Supporting a chamber that indirectly funds policies and programs you disagree with means investing in an agenda that may not align with your business’s best interests. Your dollars matter, and your membership should serve to grow your enterprise, foster meaningful engagement, and align with your principles—not fund political narratives that run counter to your mission.
Now is the time for conservative business leaders to take a hard look at their networks, advertisers, and partnerships. Ensure that your investments are supporting initiatives that align with your values, strengthen your business, and contribute to the community in ways that make sense for you—not just the prevailing political leadership in South Bend.
Disclaimer: Michiana.TV does not endorse, speak for, or represent any business in Michiana. No business was harmed in the writing of this editorial—because businesses should stand on their own merit, represent their own values, and be conscious of their affiliations.

I used to hear Dan Bongino say every single day, "They Hate You" in his daily radio show... I would expect to hear that within the first few minutes of his show, and it would always make me cringe.
The love of my life has always told me that "hate is a very strong word." She has always encouraged me to see the best in everyone, until they say or do something that directly proves they are not a good person.
In my heart, I never wanted to believe that the Democrats actually hate me, other conservative Americans, and anyone who tries to work with them on moving our community forward, for everyone.
During the past few months, after reaching out to most of the "Mayor Pete" Era of Leadership in South Bend, it has been made very, very clear to me that they do hate me, it is absolutely personal, and they are working to shut down this platform within their network of businesses, organizations, and political interests - rather than working together to elevate inspirational, innovative communications for the City of South Bend, and beyond.

Media watch: Ludicrous Denials of Gov’t Fraud
“The media spin-masters are gaslighting the public” by proclaiming that “government fraud is a mirage — a pretext for Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to bulldoze vital programs,” writes The Wall Street Journal’s Allysia Finley.
Last week, for example, The New York Times reported that Musk “offered no evidence for his sweeping claims” of fraud.
And “after the White House pushed back against” the piece, notes Finley, “Washington’s press corps circled the wagons.”
Indeed, Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake raced to debunk Musk’s fraud claims, except that in his piece, “Blake dismissed a 2024 Government Accountability Office report that projected $233 billion to $521 billion in federal fraud each year.”
“By dismissing and playing down what Americans can see with their own eyes, the press is giving Americans more reason to distrust it.”

February 19, 2025 | The Cost of Hesitation: Why Wasting Opportunity is the Biggest Mistake
We like to believe opportunity is endless—that there will always be another chance, another door, another day. But what if that’s not true? What if every moment wasted is a step further from success, from happiness, from the life we could have had?
Opportunities don’t come with warning labels. They don’t stand still, waiting for us to decide when we’re ready. They pass, quietly and quickly, slipping through our fingers while we make excuses. We hesitate, we overthink, we convince ourselves that "now isn't the right time." And while we wait, someone else is taking action, stepping into the future that could have been ours.
Regret is the cruelest teacher, reminding us of what we ignored, what we let slip away. It’s not failure we should fear—it’s never trying at all. Because in the end, the real tragedy isn’t making the wrong choice. It’s making no choice at all.

The Democrats aren’t angry at Musk, Vance, or Kennedy—they’re angry that these men have an opportunity to make a real difference in America. These men, like many others, once believed in the party, worked hard within it, and envisioned great things, only to be rejected, mocked, and cast aside. Now, they’ve broken free and are holding the party accountable.
Democrats are furious—not at corruption, not at government overreach, but at men like Elon Musk, JD Vance, and RFK Jr. Why? Because they refused to fall in line. These former Democrats didn’t change—the party did. It alienated them with its obsession over censorship, bureaucracy, and division, leaving no room for independent thought or real leadership.
Now, these men stand with the Republican Party, working for transparency, strength, and true inclusion. They put America first, and that terrifies the Democrats. Instead of self-reflection, the party lashes out, demonizing those who dared to question its failures. But the message is clear: If you want real progress, you must break free from the party that punishes dissent.
Suddenly, the Democrats are screaming about purse strings and claiming ownership over taxpayer money. But let’s be clear—it belongs to the American people. Tune in to the Democrats' clown show on Fox News LIVE, always streaming on YouTube. Rational Americans see through this nonsense by the true "yellers" and "wreckers" in an America that belongs to everyone.
More than 77 million Americans elected Donald Trump to set things right, and that’s exactly what Republicans are doing. Meanwhile, Democrats resort to scare tactics, trying to instill fear in senior citizens. They cling to outdated methods of suppression, silencing proactive voices by labeling them “yellers” and “wreckers.” Meanwhile, through their vast media network, they fuel division, judgment, and exile anyone who dares to disagree. Democrats are truly the "yellers" and "wreckers."
In 2025 and beyond, Democrats will keep pushing away anyone who challenges their control or agenda. Meanwhile, rational Americans will continue working toward real balance in our leadership—one built on unity, opportunity, and inclusion, not division and suppression.
Our differences do not make us enemies, bad people, or evil. Inner networking efforts to supress, hinder, and reject others who love their country and community, and wish to participate in its growth, that is the evil that Republicans are rooting out. Negativity toward other people who you do not even know, have never met in person, or ever had a single meeting with - that is what is bad for America and its future. That is being a "wrecker," not a "builder."
America is fed up with Democrat Division and Demonization. It is time to put Family First, Community First, and America First. That is the American way, while some choose to bash Americans for loving America.

DO YOU AGREE?
Should the self proclaimed "Experts" have the ONLY voice to create policy, decide who does and does not belong, and make decisions for Our Community - without the opportunity for everyone to BE HEARD?
IS Your Community Leadership Empowering ALL, or are they working to silence any opposition, including those who are now considered the "Yellers" & "Wreckers" of Our Community by the most influential businessman in Michiana???
"It’s open microphone night at public meetings. The public comment portion of meetings has been hijacked by a process that rewards those who complain loudly and share the most extreme accusations, all hoping to generate a news story from the local media. Public meetings have lost decorum and have become more like a sporting event, full of cheers and boos. I encourage you to check out the circus in person or virtually.
Gone are the days of making a phone call, sending an email, or having a meeting to discuss a concern. What good would those things do? There wouldn’t be an audience. Instead, wouldn’t it be more fun to get a broader group riled up as the wreckers share their loud opinions or agendas? We need more builders!"
